Spotter spot
The spotter’s place at Breda International Airport will be given a new look in 2021. In the coming months, together with Social Sofa, artists and residents of Halderberge, we will be building a beautiful spotter’s place where the history of aviation at Seppe / BIA is central.
The social sofa is a concept of community art, a work of art by and for society that you can make full use of. This makes the spotter’s place a meeting spot for aviation enthusiasts, but also for cyclists and hikers, holidaymakers and tourists.
The spotter’s place is designed by artists from Halderberge. One design is worked out for an eye-catching social wall, 4 social hockers and a social sofa. The hockers and sofa are transformed into a social sofa in the social workshop, the social wall is a project by and for residents of the area.
The spot is an initiative of Breda International Airport in collaboration with Economische Koepel Halderberge, Kunstenaarscollectief Halderberge and Visit Halderberge.
Pitch in
Do you like to contribute literally and figuratively to the social wall? You are welcome! We are looking for creative supporters who want to participate between the end of May and the end of August to regularly contribute to the social wall. This will of course be done with unknown taking of any measures.
